MAMA Youth Project

MAMA Youth Project has spent over a decade training young people from under-represented backgrounds to succeed in the media industry. Without personal connections, the media industry can be particularly hard to break into; MAMA Youth Project aims to change that with their programmes that help to give underrepresented young people a start with TV production training. They also offer more general training in media awareness to help their members get a variety of jobs in the media industry from sound production to editing. Alumni have access to exclusive opportunities to apply for jobs with their partners.

With ConnectHive, MAMA Youth Project has been able to offer their community with one-to-one mentorship to prepare young people in their applications to MAMA Youth Project training schemes by matching them with working professionals in media.
