The Black Heart Foundation

Coming from disadvantaged backgrounds, the Black Heart Foundation scholars often lack access to networks and Mentors who can provide support and guidance in their career choices. ConnectHive and the Black Heart Foundation partner to bridge this gap, offering one-to-one mentoring – with tailored matching to individuals and organisations  across a wide range of industries – as well as group coaching and webinars. The Black Heart Foundation network has the opportunity to access professionals within the industries and roles they are most interested while building the skills and confidence to realise their career ambitions. The Black Heart Foundation scholars have become some of the most active members of the ConnectHive community.

Through their network, the Black Heart Foundation has also introduced dozens of Mentors to the ConnectHive network, bringing a range of high quality professionals into our community for the benefit of not only the Black Heart Foundation scholars, but the broader ConnectHive beneficiary members, too.

The Black Heart Foundation provides inspiration, counsel, guidance, care and financial assistance to a wide range of children and young adults from diverse backgrounds and environments in the UK. Just like ConnectHive, the Black Heart Foundation is driven to ensure that young people’s ambitions aren’t restricted by where they came from. By offering scholarships to people from disadvantaged backgrounds to further their education in academia and the arts, the Black Heart Foundation ensures that each young person in their network has a fair opportunity to achieve their dream life.
