The Sutton Trust

ConnectHive and The Sutton Trust are well aligned in our shared goal to offer all young people the same opportunities to level up and achieve social mobility. Our partnership offers The Sutton Trust alumni relevant skills-building support and career guidance through one-to-one mentoring sessions, helping them to achieve their potential through access to our high-quality network. In addition, ConnectHive offers career development webinars to The Sutton Trust alumni and has invited select members to be part of tailored longer term programmes in collaboration with businesses in the corporate world. A Sutton Trust alumnus has also transitioned to become a part of the ConnectHive team – thank you for your continued effort, Francesca!

The ConnectHive and The Sutton Trust partnership has proved to be a strong one, with consistent registrations coming from new The Sutton Trust alumni as they join the community as well as regular sessions with existing members. One of our star Mentees from The Sutton Trust, Daniel, posted about his experience on LinkedIn.

The Sutton Trust is one of the largest social mobility charities in the UK, supporting working-class young people by giving them the tools to succeed. The Sutton Trust fights for social mobility from birth to the workplace so that every young person – no matter who their parents are, what school they go to, or where they live – has the chance to succeed in life. By running summer schools at top universities for working-class sixth form students, their network can get a taste of university life they might feel is not for people like them. The apprenticeship summer school run in parallel also gives young working-class people opportunities at top companies, something that may have been otherwise out of reach due to lack of network access.
